Worked in retail; food service; as a youth director in two churches; at In Touch Ministries in Atlanta, GA; temporary worker; Christian Missionary in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa; Instructional Assistant Roanoke County Public Schools.
Since 1979, I have lived in Tennessee, Virginia, Texas, Washington, Florida, Georgia, and Tanzania, East Africa.
I have volunteered with teaching Sunday School, been a deacon, directed Vacation Bible School, helped with kids at two inner city mission centers, volunteered with Acts 2, another inner city ministry, and the Roanoke Rescue Mission. I continue to volunteer with some of these fore mentioned ministries.
Early this year, I joined Facebook, and through our Cave Spring site, and FB have reconnected with some of our fellow graduates, and other folks I knew growing up, at school, in college, seminary, on the mission field, and other work places. I also have run into a few people while running around town! I also am emailing some old friends like Bert Tyler, Rob Adcox, John Cooley, chatting with Marsha Hatfield-Elwell on FB, and have seen her in person a couple of times. It was actually Marsha and a few others who suggested I join FB!
By the way, everybody, "Fred Is Still Dead!"
