Became professional college student-graduated from VT 1986 (Exercise Physiology) finally.
Lived in Charleston, SC for 1 yr. just to have some fun and then moved back to Roanoke for a while until taking a job in medical sales. Moved to Huntington, WV thinking I would be there for just 1 yr. not knowing that I would meet my future husband running at an area park. We were married 1 year later in 1990. Began a career in pharmaceutical sales and took time off as a stay at home mom while my kids were young. I went back 5 years ago full time when my daughter started 1st grade. We stay busy with 3 very athletic children. All three are talented in several sports, but baseball/softball seem to have become the top sport. Both boys as well as my daughter are pitchers. Our kids are very tall. My oldest, Nathaniel 16, is 6'4 and still growing. Nick is 14 and is 6'2, and our daughter is 5'2 at 10. My husband has a family business which keeps us in WV but we would like to retire down around Smith Mountain Lake in the future. I really miss being in Roanoke and look forward to seeing everyone in September.

All three years of traveling to Myrtle Beach. Girls staying at the Sandcastle (Room 205) and the guys down at the Yactsman. And how can anyone forget Spikes on Friday nights and Bernie's to close. The Centre was pretty good for Tuesday and Thursday happy hours!! Cow Hill was always great for 4 wheeling no matter what kind of car you had (tore up a few that weren't even mine). And the best one was getting out of school by calling the pay phone in the lobby and Cindy Vaught playing my mom and telling Mrs. Jones it would be fine for me to check out early!! Gain time was always fun in the cafeteria, especially if you created more of them on your schedule by whiting out classes and then just making a copy-does that sound familiar to someone??? I could go on and on...too many good times to list!!
